Sore head after last night's celebrations with the jubilant French. The French Martinis in Soho House never tasted so good but they haven't done any favours for me today. The fact that every viewing facility in and around London is fully booked for next Tuesday isn't helping things either.
I love the World Cup, I really do... in fact we all do (its Helen v Chris for the sweepstake on Sunday) but we've had to put off fieldwork on the evenings there have been major games therefore from next Monday the whole world and their qually friends have booked every studio there is. Luckily I think I may have bagged a last minute cancellation so at least that's one thing sorted. The other? Getting my head in gear for the day's work and night's partying.
Tonight Matthew half of The Nursery will be teleported back to 1981 where we'll be comparing perms, admiring shoulder pads and doing whatever people did back then. The other half will be doing what they're paid to do (i.e. moderate groups) whilst we represent at the AQR's birthday bash.
Happy 25th to the AQR!
