Ocado’s radio ad is good
Humour is important to an ad
Quaker Oats Granola – Windy Miller and PC McGarry
Bad ads are memorable too: Anchor Butter range
Voiceover from little britain – good to have voiceovers that you recognise – you listen to them a bit more


25-34 year old women, with kids, living in Staines:

Budweiser lager - Frogs
Kellogs Coco Pop Straws popular with children of the respondents


35-44 year old males, with kids, living in Staines:

Football ads at the moment are noticeable
Carlsberg ads (wrongly attributed) are good – Best Football Team
Don’t like mobile phone ads and ads for ringtones
Claims Direct ads: not good ads
Car ads are best because of the music and chance to see cars – Honda is best – Dancing Transformer
Clever ads are the best sort of ads
Nike football ads are good

Cif Cleaning Products ads: v annoying and unrealistic – overacted
The National Lottery – The Big Win (A Smile and a Ribbon)
Honda – Choir: “I hate it!” said one respondent. Another said “I would turn the telly off (when it comes on)”
